GridCite Refund and Cancellation Policy

Do not publish until the bracketed business decisions are approved. Effective date: 2026-08-01 Billing contact: hello@gridcite.com

Approved policy (owner decision, 2026-08-01; pending counsel)

GridCite's Professional plan is a one-year subscription that does not auto-renew: the paid term ends on its end date, and continued access requires a new purchase. Because the free 7-day trial is the evaluation period:

  1. Fees are non-refundable, except (a) where required by applicable law, or
  2. (b) where GridCite determines a billing error occurred. GridCite may issue a refund in other circumstances at its sole discretion; doing so is not a waiver of this policy.

  3. There is no renewal charge to cancel. You may end a subscription early
  4. through the customer portal or by contacting hello@gridcite.com; access continues through the end of the paid period already purchased, and ending early does not create a refund of unused time or unused export allowance.

  5. If GridCite makes a material billing error, it will investigate and provide
  6. an appropriate correction or refund. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible; processing times are controlled by the payment provider and financial institution.

Important implementation notes

  • Put a link to this policy beside the purchase action and in the account/billing area.
  • Match the language to the Stripe price, checkout interval, renewal behavior, and customer-portal cancellation flow actually configured in production.
  • Do not promise a refund process that the support team cannot execute.
